Abena Boadi-Agyemang
Mechanical Engineering
Stanford, CA
Abena is a fourth year mechanical engineering major at Stanford University where she designs low-cost, dynamic interfaces that enable people who are blind or have low vision to interact with graphical information through their sense of touch. As a researcher, she develops robotic manipulators that deliver haptic feedback to users to support rich, touch-based interactions. Her goal is to create inclusive computer interfaces that allow people to experience and engage with information in ways which suit their unique levels of ability.
In her free time, Abena enjoys doing yoga, rollerblading, and sketching.
