Ellie Bazurto recently completed a degree in Industrial and Interaction Design from Syracuse University. During her time, she helped found and was a former
co-president of Women in Design Syracuse.
Earlier this year she conducted thesis research in Sweden and Denmark on transportation systems and their impact on "social isolation." With a passion for design strategy, storytelling, and research-based in sociology, ethnography, and collaboration, she is now pursuing her master's degree with a focus on social impact design to support positive community connectedness.
In her free time, Ellie enjoys capturing her travels on film, sipping green tea lattes, soaking up any sunshine she can get, and attempting to tackle the ever-growing pile of books on her bedside table.
