Winson is a fourth year at UC San Diego and is from San Gabriel Valley majoring in Cognitive Science with a specialization in (Design & Interaction) and double majoring in Philosophy. He is most passionate about utilizing design as a toolkit to create work that is purposeful and impactful. He wants to use design as a platform to bring about inclusion, accessibility, and designing for good. Winson is currently involved with Atutu (an NGO) to create a makerspace that aims to address educational inequity in Myanmar that leverages resources, tools, and curriculum to teach students at large.
He realized that beyond professionalism the importance of authentic and genuine connections is what makes everything in life worthwhile; to have a goal to grow everyday is fine, but to grow with others is what he wishes everyone else can also have.
“The best things in life aren’t things.” — And I’m a firm believer of that.
