Connie Flores is a Xicana designer born and raised in Houston, TX, now based in St. Louis. She graduated from Syracuse University, receiving a bachelor’s in Communications Design. With a passion for problem solving and social justice, she practices brand identity, storytelling, and digital design to raise awareness towards issues at the intersection of community and activism. Through her experiences in community led spaces and initiatives, she’s found that the first step in creating effective design is knowing and involving your audience in the process (maybe over some delicious food!). She hopes to create content and narratives that positively impact and empower communities through design and storytelling.
